Zuram was founded in 2006 by Austin L. Jackson to bring a change to the way small businesses use the internet. With a passion for technology and how it could make a positive difference for businesses everywhere, Austin learned how to develop websites while he went to middle school and built a website for his uncle’s clothing store.

Austin learned a lot from that first project, and was able to expand his knowledge  allowing him to begin taking on larger projects. As he began to develop a reputation for excellent work, he brought on his parents, Larry and Janet Jackson as partners in his new company, Zuram (Pronounced Zuh-RAM). Austin chose the  name Zuram to represent speed and fresh, clear thinking.

Zuram began taking on more projects with the help of Larry Jackson, a Project Management Professional and former CIO, and Janet Jackson, who serves as Chief Creative Officer. As Austin saw a need for additional web solutions he began to implement products and services that could address all the online marketing efforts of small and medium sized businesses. Zuram became a one stop shop to meet the needs of small and medium sized businesses by offering web development, maintenance, search engine optimization (SEO), process automation, and social media management.
